The battle for the best team of DIY-Jateng between PSS, PSIS and Persijatim Solo FC always held on high tension. Pride and honour are everything. Now in the derby PSIS could revance 2-0 for the home lost on last season.
Still without Deca and Marcello, the Elja made one change from the side, Anam on his debut replacing Nugroho Adiyanto in stopper and Musafri got his second starter in striker. While Mahesa Jenar were without Komang Putra, Eko Purjianto and Purwanto.
The visitors were intent on grabbing the initiative early, and in the opening 15 minutes M. Ansori could have scored, but Agus Murod make flying saves to beat out the free kick. On 37 minutes, "Bagong" Ansori and Leke played 1-2 ball touch then passed to open area in fron of Agus Murod, but no one there.
Indriyanto was bundled down in the box by Anam on 46 minutes - and referee pointed to the spot. Kwateh stepped up to confidently clip his shot past Joice Sorongan.
PSS could not replay good playing on first half. Inconcentrated made mistake were proven on second half. The defender of PSIS were fall, referee said go on and Seto made goal. But referee stop the game for free kick to PSIS. Mahesa Jenar kick off straight to defend area of PSS. Anam thought it was offside, either did Joice. So Kwateh shot calmly to the silent net on 54 minutes.
The high tension were culminated on 71 minutes. From the crowd in PSIS defend's area, Anderson clash with Dwi Adi Y, then hit him on the face. Dwi Adi fall down, almoust all PSIS' squad ran to revance to Anderson. Then the chaos was started. Anderson could saved by the security and ejected by referee.
With 10 men, PSS could saved untill last second. Inconcentrated made mistake, mistake made failure.
