Seto Nurdiantoro fired PSS Sleman back into the Liga Bank Mandiri top six with a precious victory against Persita Tangerang. The 30-year-old claimed his second goal in this season from the penalty area with just nine minutes after the break. Seto's goal from Bagong's assist in the 54th minute sunk Pendekar Cisadane and proved enough to lift Daniel Roekito's men off the foot of the table.
Indeed after Alexander "Leke" Dos Santos's well-worked opener from Seto's assist in the 12th minute, Persita took it upon themselves to gift their opponents the second with Fallah Johnson guilty of defensive howlers to cue up the simplest of chances for Seto. The "Super Seto" man kept his cool to prod the ball past Sofyan Hadi and out of reach.
Elang Jawa needed to slow the game down, but as quickly as the gained possession, they gave it away again to put themselves under pressure. PSS were still forced to cling on for their victory after Ilham Jayakesuma's 62nd-minute strike set up a frantic visiting attacks.
Elja won a hard-fought game. They scored what the coach would consider to be a very good goal. The players needed to be supported and encouraged, which Slemania did the best.
